Each Monday in the media center there are staff or student led Maker activities. These activities have included decorating doodle discs, creating flashlights, doing light paintings, building spare part monsters, competing in a straw rocket competition, folding origami, and many others activities. All students are welcome to join us by getting a pass from administration or security in the cafeteria at lunch time.
On Tuesdays through Thursdays, materials and games are available during lunches for students to make what they like.
The Library Advisory Board is a group of students who assist in various things within the library media program. They create bulletin boards and displays, make lists of books to be ordered, and help with determining and implementing promotions and activities within the media center. The group meets every other Wednesday after school. For exact dates, see the news board in the media center.
We also accept a small number of student volunteers assigned to maintaining the shelves here in the media center. Those spots are limited and all students must go through an application process in order to participate.
